We Care. And Our Service Proves It.
About St. Gabriel’s Community
St. Gabriel’s Community welcomed its first guests on June 21, 2010. Since that time, we have provided quality, compassionate care to many guests. We have become known in the community as the place to go for short-term rehab. As of May 22, 2017 we have expanded to include assisted living, basic care and independent living.
Our campus was able to cast its vision of a living community by creating quaint neighborhoods that provide a “household’ model of care. We offer private rooms each with their own private shower. Each neighborhood includes living, dining and family space which creates a comforting, warm environment that feels like home.
The neighborhood style of care has been credited with dramatically increasing quality of life, choice and satisfaction. With our state of the art rehabilitation center and our restorative care program, our dedicated and caring staff are able to focus on helping each guest reach their own level of wellness.
Delivering compassionate care that’s rooted in our Catholic values, we’re affiliated with the non-profit Benedictine Health System. We are committed to serving everyone of any denomination in a friendly environment with a true sense of community.
We’re headquartered in Duluth, Minnesota. The Benedictine Health System is sponsored by the Benedictine Sisters of St. Scholastica Monastery. As one of the largest Catholic senior care organizations in the United States, we have more than 30 elder care communities in Minnesota, North Dakota, Missouri, Wisconsin and Illinois.
Our Mission and Values
Based on the Gospel and Chapter 36 of the Rule of St. Benedict, our Mission and Values direct our compassionate care. Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice, our Benedictine Core Values, guide us every day as we deliver senior nursing care.
